Earth Conscious

Florals

At Wild Things, we draw inspiration from natural forms, blending them with a pinch of modern artistic flair. Guided by the seasons, we prioritize using local blooms, connecting with local growers and maintaining ecological awareness.

Unlike traditional floral foam, which poses a significant environmental concerns due to its non-biodegradable, toxic contents, we have chosen eco-friendly alternatives for our arrangements. We also avoid the use of dyed and preserved blooms.

We are committed to using eco-conscious practices and value connection to the land, ensuring that every floral creation brings joy without compromising the wellbeing of our environment.

Gundungarra Land

We are situated on a family farm in Marulan, NSW. Our area is home of the Gundungarra people and meeting place for members of the Wadi Wadi, Wandandian, and Ngawal peoples. Wild Things acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we grow, live, and create. We are inspired by their connection to the seasons, land, and waterways. We pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.

“I come into the peace of wild things

who do not tax their lives with forethought

of grief. I come into the presence of still water.

And I feel above me the day-blind stars

waiting with their light. For a time

I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.”
